Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIBs) aren’t just buzzwords for us. Fostering an inclusive and accepting workplace where everyone feels comfortable and empowered to bring their authentic selves is at the heart of our culture at Advancing Analytics.
Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging
We celebrate diversity of thought, background, and experience, recognising that these differences strengthen our team. We actively encourage open communication, where everyone feels comfortable sharing ideas and expressing themselves freely, and respect is a given. Here, you'll be valued for your unique perspective and contributions, not expected to conform to a mould. Our ‘come as you are value’ encapsulates this, and as a result, we cultivate a happier, more engaged workforce that thrives on collaboration and pushes the boundaries of what's possible.
DIBs Core Team
Diversity, inclusion and a sense of belonging are things that every person in the company contributes towards. Anyone can commemorate an important date with a blog, Lunch & Learn, or fundraiser, but our DIBs Core Team is in place to support this and make sure we have eyes on DIBs so it doesn’t get left behind in the busyness of project work.
Our DIBs activity ranges from diversity training to our annual AA Macmillan Bake-Off; games nights to educational sessions raising awareness. We also have networks and private groups for those with protected characteristics to have a space to share experiences and feel supported. Our current networks are:
- Women
- BAME
- People with Disabilities
- Neurodivergent
- LGBT+
- Mental Health
- Families
These networks are entirely anonymous and protected by a code of conduct, to make them as inclusive as possible.
Meet the DIBs Core Team
Being non-binary, DIBs is so important to me, in particular celebrating different experiences in the team.
As a gay man, I joined DIBs to champion diversity, elevate the voices of others, and celebrate the differences we all bring to work.
I struggled with Dyslexia and OCD growing up, so I really value welcoming and supporting people from all walks of life.
As a neurodivergent person, I joined DIBs to promote belonging, and strive to ensure everyone feels welcome at AA.
